"The Justice source said he estimated between 10 and 11 percent of the attorneys in the Civil Rights Division are homosexual. He said he believes the protesters were charged with ethnic intimidation ‘at the recommendation of some of our attorneys who were at the march.’ …

"Brian Fahling, senior trial attorney for the American Family Association’s Center for Law & Policy, is representing the Christian defendants. He was not surprised that Department of Justice attorneys may have attended OutFest. …"

"Fahling said that at the preliminary hearing in December, the Philadelphia city prosecutor in the case, Charles Ehrlich, attacked the defendants as ‘hateful’ and referred to preaching the Bible as ‘fighting words,’ a characterization, the law group says, with which Judge Meehan agreed. …

On June 15, the following Republican Senators joined the homosexual lobby to vote in favor of so-called "hate crimes" legislation: 

The vote to pass this amendment (#3183, to S. 2400, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2005) was 65 in favor, 33 opposed, with 2 not voting. No Democrat voted against the proposal, which was heavily pushed by Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, who has been backed by President Bush to be the next Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

"Marriage and divorce laws have always been crafted by states. In an ideal world, state governments enforce marriage contracts and settle divorces, but otherwise stay out of marriage. The federal government, granted only limited, enumerated powers in the Constitution, has no role whatsoever."

"However, many Americans understandably fear that if gay marriage is legalized in one state, all other states will be forced to accept such marriages. They argue that the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the Constitution essentially federalizes the issue; hence a constitutional amendment is necessary.

"But the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), passed in 1996, explicitly authorizes states to refuse to recognize gay marriages performed in other states. Furthermore, the Supreme Court repeatedly has interpreted the Full Faith and Credit clause to allow Congress to limit the effect of state laws on other states. In fact, federal courts almost universally apply the clause only to state court judgments, not statutes. So a constitutional amendment is not necessary to address the issue of gay marriage, and will only drive yet another nail into the coffin of federalism."

"If we turn regulation of even domestic family relations over to the federal government, presumably anything can be federalized.

"The choices are not limited to either banning gay marriage at the federal level, or giving up and accepting it as inevitable.

"A far better approach, rarely discussed, is for Congress to exercise its existing constitutional power to limit the jurisdiction of federal courts. Congress could statutorily remove whole issues like gay marriage from the federal judiciary, striking a blow against judicial tyranny and restoring some degree of states’ rights. We seem to have forgotten that the Supreme Court is supreme only over lower federal courts; it is not supreme over the other branches of government. AN ASSAULT ON CHRISTIAN MORALITY FUNDED WITH YOUR TAXES

"USAID-funded condom billboards appear in newspapers and on billboards overseas, in violation of local laws which require information about risks. In family planning clinics throughout Central America and Africa, IUDs and Depo-Provera are promoted to teens and women without adequate information about risks, in violation of informed consent provisions of U.S. law. In Honduras, IUDs are provided to anemic women without informed consent, and massive sterilization programs are promoted in government hospitals."

WHY DOES BUSH FUND PRO-HOMO PROPAGANDA?

"In Honduras, a USAID manual titled, Speaking About Sexuality With Young People, is aimed at getting ‘boys and girls’ to ‘acknowledge the existence of homosexuality in the population.’

"According to this USAID manual, promoted in schools throughout Honduras, homosexuality fulfills an important role in the sexual socialization of youngsters. ‘Youngsters today have to recognize the existence of male and female homosexuality.’ "

TEN-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN ARE MENTALLY SODOMIZED

"In a section of the manual titled ‘Talking About Sexuality With Youngsters,’ teachers are encouraged to ask ten-year-old children: ‘If you have never had sex with a person of the same sex, how do you know if you would prefer it?’ Homosexuals such as Oscar Wilde are promoted as heroes, and photos of transvestites are provided to children."

A BIPARTISAN RAPE OF THE INNOCENT

"The manual is part of USAID’s AIDSCAP program, implemented in over 30 developing countries by highly funded population control groups including Family Health International (FHI).

"FHI is one of USAID’s oldest and most highly funded population control NGOs. According to USAID, FHI ‘improves reproductive health’ among people ten to 24 years old (HIV/AIDS Partnerships, USAID, Global Health Bureau). FHI also promotes programs designed to provide lubricants for men who have sex with other men (‘HIV/AIDS Interventions With Men Who Have Sex With Men,’ Family Health International, 2003)."

BUSH AND CONGRESS HAVE FUNDED FHI – THEY CAN STOP IT

But FHI has been aggressively promoting sexual material, including material on homosexuality, to children for years.

"In 2001, FHI received $85 million from USAID to promote sex education to children and teens (‘USAID Award to FHI Promotes Youth Reproductive Health,’ Family Health International, October 2, 2001). FHI’s program, titled YouthNet, provides IUDs, contraceptive pills, and Depo-Provera to children as young as ten years old in developing nations. Post-abortion care (a euphemism for manual vacuum abortion) is also available to children."

"USAID’s YouthNet program is designed to destroy genuine faith-based abstinence initiatives, and integrate programs for teens and children into already-existing adult HIV/AIDS/Sexual and Reproductive Health programs throughout the world. Dr. James Dobson, President of Focus on the Family, released a press statement (7/2/02) responding to reports citing Dr. Julie Gerberding as the new head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in which he stated that "We are baffled as to why President Bush would appoint someone so out of step with his stated priorities. Dr. Gerberding has been in positions of leadership in the CDC for years, but there is nothing in the record to indicate her opposition to ‘safe-sex’ ideology. She has no apparent concern about the ineffectiveness of condom usage, nor any stated disagreement with the positions of the homosexual activist movement, or with the provision of free needles to drug users. To the contrary, her writings clearly show that she believes the ‘safe sex’ lie that has entrapped millions of our teenagers – many of whom are now fighting incurable sexually-transmitted diseases."
